Yes. GuardaVent covers are designed to work on carpeted floors, as long as the distance from the top of the floor to where the screw is insterted is not more than 1".

Do vent covers work on hardwood floors?

Yes. Our covers work on hardwood, laminate, tile, vinyl, and carpet. The design accommodates different flooring surfaces without scratching or damaging them.

Can I use GuardaVent covers on wall or ceiling vents?

Our covers are specifically designed for floor vents, however if the vent opening is the correct size, and there is a sufficient area for the screws to insert into, they have been used in ceilings and walls.
